pedicab
The Pedicab is a three wheeled bicycle with a covered rear seat for customers. Like a bicycle, this form of transportation is powered by human pedal power. The first pedicab that was built here in the Philippines was in Tondo. It all started when poverty was penetrating the national capital region and even tricycles were very hard to maintain for those who make a living out of them. Filipinos, as resourceful as we always are, found a way to create something using some of the tricycle parts that is easier to maintain than a tricycle, hence, pedicab was crafted. Over the years, it has been produced and distributed throughout the country.
